BIOGRAPHY
A healthy baby girl was born on October 19, 2001 she was called a star right after her delivery by the Doctors and nurses. Nay Nay Kirby started making stage appearances at the age of one. Her God mother Luenell, comedian best known for her role in the theatre block buster hit movie Borat. Luenell would host the Black expo in Sacramento every year and every year she would bring nay nay on stage with her and as nay nay grew older nay nay would start holding the microphone and speaking to the crowd, they were so amazed by this young child with the gift of speaking.
Nay Nay was four when she expressed her interest in the industry, she told her dad she wanted to have her own show on the Disney Channel. Nay Nay has always been very photogenic her mother Monique sent photos to an agency near San Francisco and less that a week later nay nay was signed and doing Print work in San Francisco. She did ads for Macy’s, Mervyns and McDonalds.
The Market was small with mainly print Nay nay expressed interest in acting. The family moved to los angeles and Nay nay took off She has done several short films,most recent feature film with the famous Wayans Bros. movie titled “Dance Flick”, Haitian Nights starring Kenya Moore, and Truly Blessed starring Vanessa Callaway. Also she has a cameo in Chicago Pulaski Jones starring Cedric the Entertainer and Kel mitchell all movies slated for a 2009 release check imdb for release dates. Other works include Spokes model, fashion, runway. PSA’s, Stand up comedy, Improv, voice over. She can be seen in several music videos. Master P and Romeo “Our People”,Tapes n Tapes, Wayne Brady. Nay Nay has always had an interest in music she likes to sing, but she loves to rap yes a female rapper is what she is. her debut single “slug bug” has caught the attention of radio disney. Nay Nay had a long list of performances in 2008 and is slated for more performances in 2009, still in the studio working to complete her self titled CD “NAY’ NAY’s LIFE” she is excited, by saying I will have a song for everyone. Her stage name is LIL NAY NAY.
Nay Nay receives daily support from her mom,manager Monique and her dad Tony Kirby who writes all of her songs and she co writes with them. Nay Nay has a few famous cousins in the industry Troy Kirby who is a dancer and have been in several high profiled artists music videos,commercials, and Feature films. Also, Kyron “K Frost” Kirby who is a professional drummer and co-founder Of MINK non profit org. for children, he is eight years old.
When nay nay has a break she loves the park, museums,Disneyland,zoo,movies,shopping for clothes,shoes and she enjoys going out of town to see her family.
