Young actor Kwesi Boakye (profile) has landed a guest starring role on the TNT show Hawthorne which stars Jada Pinkett Smith! Kwesi will be playing the role of William Glass, a burn victim. The special effects makeup for Kwesi’s burn took 1 hour and 45 minutes to apply! Wow! Take a look at some of the photos of him on set. View the photo of the arm burn as well. Catch Kwesi tonight at 10/9c in the premiere of the new comedy-drama “Men of a Certain Age” on TNT. Kwesi plays Jamie Thoreau, the son of Andre Braugher who is one of three college buddies who keep their friendship going long after they’ve graduated. The show also stars Ray Romano and Lil JJ as DaShaun.
