The K3 Brothers [Kwame Boateng profile), Kofi Siriboe (profile) and Kwesi Boakye (profile)], and Tyler James Williams (profile) were also in attendance during the 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards this past Friday (February 26, 2010) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Tyler was nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, but did not win. Congrats on the nomination, Tyler! See more pictures of all these young men below.

Young actor Kwesi Boakye (profile) has landed a guest starring role on the TNT show Hawthorne which stars Jada Pinkett Smith! Kwesi will be playing the role of William Glass, a burn victim. The special effects makeup for Kwesi’s burn took 1 hour and 45 minutes to apply! Wow! Take a look at some of the photos of him on set. View the photo of the arm burn as well. WARNING: The photo may be a little graphic for weak stomachs… it’s only makeup though!

It’s most certainly a happy new year for actor Kwesi Boakye (profile), as he just booked a guest starring role on the new NBC hit comedy show “Community!” Kwesi will be playing “Elijah,” the son of actress Yvette Nicole Brown’s character on the show. He’s currently filming and having a blast working with comedy veterans like Chevy Chase and Joel Mchale. See pictures below. The other boy in the pictures is Tyrel Jackson Williams, younger brother to Tyler James Williams.

To add to that good news, Kwesi’s also excited because his television show “Men Of A Certain Age” has been picked up for a second season! Production for season two will start soon, but until then Kwesi continues to work on his cartoon network animated show “The Amazing World of Gumball” Congrats to Kwesi!

Don’t forget to watch him in “Men of a Certain Age” Monday nights at 10/9c on TNT.

Kwesi Boakye (profile) attended the world premiere of Lions Gate’ “The Spy Next Door” held at The Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 9, 2010.

Kwesi currently plays the role of Jamie Thoreau in the new TNT series “Men of a Certain Age” which just premiered last month. Men of a Certain Age airs on TNT, Monday nights at 10/9c.
