The UNCF will be airing it’s annual An Evening of Stars Tribute to Lionel Richie on January 23rd and 24th 2010. Both Bobb’e J Thompson (profile) and Paige Hurd (profile) will be presenters at the event. Other special guest for the evening will include Cedric the Entertainer, Will.I.Am, Jesse McCartney, Akon, and more. Be sure to check your local listings for show times!

Bobb'e J at the Ben 10: Alien Swarm premiere

Bobb’e J Thompson (profile) attended the Los Angeles premiere of Ben 10: Alien Swarm on November 18th in Burbank California at the Warner Brothers Theater. Ben 10: Alien Swarm (based on the animated series Ben 10: Alien Force) will premiere on TV Wednesday, November 25th at 7pm (ET) on Cartoon Network. 2009 has been a very prosperous year for Bobb’e and it looks like 2010 will prove to be just as successful! Bobb’e has quite a few films under his belt including the upcoming film Lil Homiez which will be directed by Robert Townsend. Bobb’e was also recently named one of the young actors to watch in an issue of The Hollywood Reporter called Showbiz Kids. He and Yara Shahidi (profile) were the only two YBStarz listed. Bobb’e J. Thompson (profile) hit up the friends and family screening of Lionsgate’s “More Than a Game” in a cool red, white and blue ensemble over the weekend (September 26, 2009). As his shirt says, check out his new show live action show “Bobb’e Says” every Wednesday at 8pm ET on Cartoon Network. Bobb’e is also featured in the animated movie “Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs“, currently in theaters! See an interview with Bobb’e underneath where he talks with My Fox 9 about the film.

The UNCF hosted it’s 31st Annual An Evening Of Stars® Tribute this past Saturday, September 12th, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. YBStarz, Paige Hurd (profile), Bobb’e J. Thompson (profile) and Rhyon Nicole Brown (profile), were in attendance at the event which honored International superstar and Grammy award winning Lionel Richie.
