BIOGRAPHY

Actor Nathaniel Lee Jr. got his career started in 1996 at the age of six in his home town of Clinton, MS where he was involved in several community plays. In 1998 Nathaniel got a co-starring role alongside Frankie Muniz in the feature film “My Dog Skip”. He played as “Sammy”. Nathaniel appeared in “O Brother Where Art Thou”? alongside George Clooney where he played as one of the “Ice Boys”. He played as “Talmadge” in the PBS movie titled “The Ponder Heart” alongside Peter McNicol, Jennifer Lewis and JoBeth Williams. It was not until Nathaniel moved to California that he got his first starring lead role. Nathaniel’s first starring lead role came in December 2001 at the age of twelve, where he played the role of “Jr.” in a Martin Scorsese production called “The Blues”. The Blues is a seven part series made for PBS. The episode that Nathaniel stars in is called: “Warming by the Devil’s Fire”. This film was directed by Charles Burnett. Nathaniel starred as “Anthony” in a Disney original film titled: “Tiger Cruise”. He also played in “Art School Confidential.” Nathaniel has done several national commercials.

Nathaniel is now in high school and a member of the ‘Best Buddies’ club and also a member of his school’s marching, and jazz bands where he plays bass and quad drums. He has played for and still plays for different churches. Nathaniel plays drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, and piano. Nathaniel is also a music producer. Although he loves all types of music, gospel with a mix of blues catches his interest the most. Nathaniel along with his brother: actor/comedian/rapper/singer Daniel Curtis Lee has a Gospel album titled “Warming”. Nathaniel played all the instruments on this album.

Nathaniel supports numerous charity organizations.
