Thirteen year old Island Def Jam/Matriarch Records recording artist Katlyn Nichol recently had a new photoshoot and gave her fans an up close and personal look at all the fun she had on set! In the behind the scenes clip attached fans also get to hear a snippet of her song “You Put Me On” which will be featured on her upcoming debut album.

Sixteen year old Zoe Soul is an actress, singer, dancer, and model who currently stars as “Kaci” in BET’s original series Reed Between The Lines, but offstage she is all about living a healthy lifestyle. Zoe, who just changed from being vegetarian to vegan, spoke about her new eating habits, fitness and more in a recent chat with HTWW. See some highlights below:

ZOE ON BECOMING VEGAN:

I knew that I wanted to become a vegan around twelve years old. I was dancing really hard at that age so I told myself that since I still needed protein, I’d become a pescetarian, which is somebody who eats fish but no chicken, meat, only fish. I did that for a couple of years and then decided to become a vegetarian. I did that for a couple of months but I was so anxious to become a vegan so I did that kind of right away when I was fifteen. I’ve been a vegan for about six months now. I just don’t think that it’s right to eat anything that is an animal. It definitely translates into the products that I use and the things that I wear. I don’t wear any fur. Even when I wasn’t a vegetarian, I didn’t wear anything with animal skin and use anything that was tested on animals.

Fourteen-year-old actress Sydney Park recently taped a new pilot! Sydney was cast in Martin Lawrence’s new CBS pilot “Over and Out” about a widowed father (Martin Lawrence) of two teenagers who joins the police academy and becomes a cop at the age of 46. Sydney was cast as the teenaged daughter, Kim Barker. Let’s hope to see it on CBS this fall!

Young Stars Niles Fitch, Eden Sanaa Duncan-Smith and Trevor Jackson were in attendance during the 33rd Annual Young Artist Awards held on Sunday, May, 6, 2012 at Sportman’s Lodge in Studio City, California. All three were nominated for awards! Trevor Jackson won the award for Best Performance in a TV series (Young Actor 14-17) for his guest star appearance on NBC’s Harry’s Law.
