Though 15-year-old Brea Renee is often busy with her acting career and school, she makes sure to take time to wind down and de-stress! Here she shares some of her favorite leisure activities that help her to relax.

I wish every day was Saturday because that’s my free day to relax with family and friends. During the week, I’m so busy with school, auditions, acting and dance classes, that I don’t get a chance to see my family or friends until Saturday. Saturday is my day for leisure activities. I love to go to the movies, listen to music on my computer or iPod, blogging, skating, shopping, talking on my phone and watching my favorite shows on TV.

My favorite movies are comedy, animations, drama, all Disney and Nickelodeon, Tyler Perry and Will Smith movies.

My Apple computer and iPod are my favorites. I can just stay home and be on the computer for hours listening to music, chatting on MySpace, watching videos on YouTube, or listening to my music on my iPod.

My music selection is Pop, R& B, and Hip Hop. There are many artists I listen to in my IPod like, Beyonce, Rhianna, Ciara, Mary J, Keyshia Cole, Mariah, Brandy, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff, Britney Spears, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Neyo, T.I., Lil Wayne, Kayne, 50 Cent and many more.

Skating – I love skating! My favorite place to go is SKATELAND in the valley, in Cali. It’s also a great way to exercise!

TV Shows – All Disney & Nick shows, The Parkers (are hilarious), Tyra Banks, Oprah, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Snoop Dog Fatherhood, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, Brutha to Brutha, all BET, VH1 and MTV shows. Degrassi, Gossip Girls, The Secret Life of an American Teenager and AS THE WORLD TURNS is a must!

Everyone should enjoy some type of leisure activity to relax from daily stress of school and other extracurricular activities. So, take a weekend off and relax, you deserve it!
