Adrian Kali Turner (profile) has booked a new recurring role in the AMC pilot The Walking Dead! Adrian’s Press Release reads as follows:
The Walking Dead is an American monthly black and white comic published by Image Comics beginning in 2003. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore and chronicles the travels of a group of people trying to survive in a world stricken by a zombie apocalypse.
This AMC series, which will run six episodes and have its debut in October, will be directed by Frank Darabont (“The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile”), and its executive producers include Gale Ann Hurd (“The Terminator,” “Aliens,” “The Incredible Hulk”).
All filming will be done in Adrian’s hometown, Atlanta, Georgia.

On May 22, 2010, Adrian Kali Turner will serve as the keynote speaker for the Columbia Elementary School Graduation. The school is located in Decatur, Ga.When asked why Adrian was selected as speaker, school administrator Alfreda Canty responded, “we thought that kids could be best inspired by hearing and seeing one of their own.” “I have followed Adrian’s career and know him to be a very positive kid.” “After seeing his performance in My Name is Khan, I knew that I wanted him to address my students.”
Adrian Kali Turner is a 12 year old actor, who is a product of the Fayette County School System. Adrian has appeared in tv shows iCarly, Yo Gabba Gabba, Chuck, Lincoln Heights, Flash Forward and the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards. He has a key role in the blockbuster Bollywood/Hollywood film, My Name is Khan. Adrian will be appearing in the soon-to-be-released feature film, Bad Teacher, starring Cameron Diaz, Jason Segal and Justin Timberlake.

There’s been a lot going on with little Miss Nay Nay Kirby (profile)! Nay Nay has recently co-starred on an episode of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana show which will be airing soon. Nay Nay also held the lead in a commercial for Wiskas Cat Food product, National in Canada’s market for the snack “Temptations.” Also on TV is Nay Nay’s national commercial for Wells Fargo which also features YBStar China Anderson (profile). Furthermore, Lil Nay Nay has received 2 nominations in the Black Music Awards. She has been nominated in categories for Best Teen Rapper and Best Hip Hop Song! Currently, Lil Nay Nay is teamed up with Leeah D Jackson (profile) and David Millitello (profile) singing tribute songs to Michael Jackson. The trio has already performed at several big events and is loved by many!
Sayeed Shahidi (profile) recently booked a role in the NBC pilot “The Event“, playing the son of the President Of The United States! Actor Blair Underwood will play his father (the President)! Tyler James Williams (profile) also booked an NBC Pilot — a comedy pilot called “Our Show” about “a group of Sci-Fi fanboys in a small town who shoot their own version of a canceled TV show”
Scotty Noyd Jr. (profile) booked the role of Ray Cawley in the feature film “Goodnight Moon” with Annasophia Robb & Juno Temple. The film centers on two young girls who find themselves in trouble after they run away to Los Angeles. Shooting will begin in May. Film due in theaters 2011.
