Young Black Starz’ Best of 2009: Reader’s Choice Awards are finally here! We would like to recognize the hard work that our Starz have put into the year 2009 by having our very own awards in which YOU, the readers, get to vote in. 6 year old Jasmina Anema lost her battle against leukemia at 10:55pm ET on January 27, 2010. In her short life Jasmina touched many lives and inspired thousands of African Americans to register as bone marrow donors.

The funeral services for Jasmina will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Industria Superstudio 775 Washington St. New York, NY 10014 from 2pm – 5pm.
