The 2009 MTV Movie Awards took place last night in Universal City, California and YBStarz Keke Palmer and Bobb’e J Thompson were in attendance. Keke looked absolutely stunning in her peach and gray! I love her dress. Take a look at the pics! By the way, Bobb’e J was nominated for BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMANCE (MALE) but did not win. Congrats for his nomination though!

The 4th Annual Brittiana “Smile For Life” 5K Run/Walk took place yesterday at Pacific Palisades High School in Pacific Palisades, California. The event was hosted by Actor/Comedian Chris Tucker and co-hosted YBStar Keke Palmer. Many of the stars from our site attended including, Tyler James Williams, Kwame Boatang, Kofi Siriboe, Kwesi Boakye, Mishon Ratliff, Chelsea Tavares and more. Jamia, who plays Ana Hamilton in the top rated soap “The Young and the Restless,” will be performing during the seventh inning of the Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks game this Monday, June 1st at 7:10 pm. There will be a Live Webcast of the show that you can watch HERE! Jamia will be performing “God Bless America.”

Just a reminder that The 4th Annual Brittiana ‘Smile For Life‘ 5K Run/Walk will be held this Saturday, May 30th at Pacific Palisades High School, from 9am – 2pm. The race against childhood cancer event will be hosted by Actor/Comedian Chris Tucker and co-hosted Keke Palmer and will include games, prizes, bone marrow testing, celebrity autographs, raffles, a ‘childhood cancer’ awareness center, food, shopping and more. New projects for both Nay Nay Kirby and Leeah D. Jackson! Nay Nay just finished a national commercial for McDonalds in which she has 5 lines; she will be playing the role of Bekka. Leeah also just finished a State Farm commercial that should be airing in a few weeks; she’s singing along with a group of children “I’ll Be There” (Jackson 5) in the commercial.

I’m sure all of you Keke Palmer fans will be glad to know that True Jackson VP will be back for a 2nd season! Yes, and the new season will feature 20 new episodes! It will begin airing this Fall. Keke is also up on her music game. She’s currently in the studio working on her sophomore album and has released a snippet to her song “Edit (You Out My Life)” that you can listen to it via YouTube. It’s really good, puts me in the mind of a Brandy track.
