The adorable child actress Quvenzhané Wallis, 9, attended the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala presented by The Los Angeles Times on October 22, 2012 in Beverly Hills, California.
During the ceremony Quvenzhané was honored with the New Hollywood Award for her work as Hushpuppy in the independent film Beasts of the Southern Wild. This marks her first award win so far. She’s also been nominated at the IFP Gotham Awards in the “Breakthrough Actor” category. The winner of that award will be announced on November 26, 2012. Best wishes and Congratulations, Nazie!
