Guess who will be making their BIG SCREEN DEBUT next month? Dante Brown, that’s who! The 12-year-old actor will be starring in the 20th Century Fox feel good movie Won’t Back Down, coming to theaters in September. He had the opportunity to act alongside Oscar nominated actress Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal and actor Ving Rhames. In the movie Dante plays Cody, the son of Viola Davis’ character.
Here’s a brief description of the movie:
A fictional story inspired by actual events, the film chronicles the journey of two women, a struggling mother played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, and a veteran teacher played by Viola Davis, who embark on a mission to turn around their kids’ failing school. Against all odds and countless obstacles, they persevere and ultimately succeed, providing a better education and better life for their children, as well as other kids in their community. (Source)
