Four of our young shiners (Layla Crawford, Sayeed Shahidi, Khylin Rhambo and Yara Shahidi) will be playing the President’s children in the new sitcom The First Family premiering this Fall! (Which I cannot wait to see!)
The First Family, described as “a hilarious and heart warming sitcom,” is expected to be a big hit! The producers of the show brought in some of the industries’ best names to put the pilot together — the first episode of what they hope will be hundreds.
The show, which stars seasoned actors like Christopher B. Duncan, Kellita Smith, John Witherspoon, Marla Gibbs, Jackee Harry and Michael D. Roberts, follows the President’s day-to-day life in the White House while dealing with family-drama and running the country.
