Little Mma-Syrai Alek is a young starlet in the making. In just two years, the 8-year-old Los Angeles native has appeared in eight commercials including ones for Kraft, Nokia, Toyota, Famous Footwear, Walmart (twice), and Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance Promo. She was also featured in a PSA for Children’s Defense Fund, where she begged viewers not to give up on children.
In addition to commercial acting, Mma-Syrai has a role in the web series “Candyland” where she plays Bethany. “Candyland” is a comedy about pre-schoolers and it’s currently in production.
Mma-Syrai excels in her academics; she won admission into three prestigious west Los Angeles private schools! She loves Shakespeare, and reading — her favorite book is James and the Giant Peach. When she’s older she wishes to open a restaurant.
