FRESH FACE: SADE KIMORA YOUNG

Alexander Charles Arzu, 7, is an upcoming actor and a fresh face here at Young Black Starz! Alex has appeared on CBS’ Mike & Molly show twice and has had leading and supporting roles on several short films. One of his short film, “Helpless,” won several awards and Alex had the chance to accept one of the awards at a festival.

In addition to film and television Alex has been the principal kid in numerous national commercials for Microsoft, NFL, Weber Grill, Conoco Phillips 66 and Walgreens. He was featured in Jill Scott’s “Lovely Day” video, and the Funny or Die “Black & Jewish” video which he filmed with Kat Graham (Honey 2, Vampire Diaries) and Kali Hawk (Bridesmaids, New Girl).

Most recently, Alex filmed a pilot entitled Redeeming Dave with the Co-creators and Executive Producer from Comedy Central’s ‘Workaholics’ show. If picked up Alex will have a recurring role on the show!

    Alex is my handsome grandson whom I am very proud of his accomplishments at such a young age already! He stays so busy I can’t keep up with all his roles on TV, film and commercials. All I know is he is gifted, a shining star and I love him dearly. Alex keep on keeping on and kudos to your Mom for exposing the world to all your skills and talents!
