Young star Jazz Raycole will soon have a role in TV Land’s original sitcom “The Soul Man” with Cedric “The Entertainer,” Niecy Nash and Wesley Jonathan. Jazz stars as Lyric Ballentine, the 16-year-old daughter of an R&B superstar-turned-minister (Cedric) who takes over as preacher of his fathers church. Jazz, who’s best known for her role as Claire Kyle on “My Wife and Kids,” recently appeared on FOX’s New Girl and ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
“The Soul Man” premieres June 20 at 10PM/9C on TV Land.
