Seven-year-old Tyrah Skye Odoms will be making her big debut on Broadway this fall! Tyrah was cast in the classic Tony Award-winning Broadway musical ‘Annie’ as Kate, one of the eight orphans. Although this will be Tyrah’s first time performing on broadway, she is no stranger to the stage.
The New Jersey native has already performed with the Maple Shade Community Alliance Summer Theatre Program, the MSHS Performing Arts Department, the Bridge Players Theatre and more.
In addition to stage performing, Tyrah is also a runway and print model who has walked the runway for New York Fashion Week as well as done print campaigns for Baby GAP, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Kmart, Baby Phat and Boscov’s, just to name a few. She has been in commercials for Ziploc and Sprout too!
Tyrah is so excited about the broadway production, which begins on November 8, 2012, and she cannot wait to work with choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, Tony Award-winning director James Lapine and the entire cast.
