Sisters Kylee Russell, 15, Chelsea Tavares, 20, and Halle Russell were just a few of the young talents who showed up for the LAUSD/Beyond the Bell 5th Annual Take Action Leadership Campaign this past Saturday (May 19, 2012). The red carpet event was held at Paramount Studios and was hosted by Nick Cannon.
The Take Action Leadership Campaign “promotes before and after school programs which aim to reduce violence, increase attendance, improve grades, and prepare students for college” (Source).
Also in attendance were The Gurlie Gurlz who were excited to be attending their very first red carpet event!
