Eden Sanaa Duncan-Smith performed a piece called “WHEN I SPEAK” by Joss Whedon, director of the new Avenger movie and writer of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Toy Story, at Equality Now’s 20th Anniversary Fundraiser at Asia Society in New York City last month.
Equality Now works for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women and girls around the world by documenting violence and discrimination against women and mobilizing international action to support efforts to stop the abuses. (Source)
The event was hosted by Jennifer Buffett, Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, Joss Wheedon and Debra Winger.
