Yara Shahidi’s (profile) television credits are quickly building! She just booked and taped an episode of the CBS show, “Cold Case” called “Read Between the Lines.” Yara recently blogged about her experience taping the show: “I had such a cool time working on Cold Case, because I had to rap to a Queen Latifah song (one of my all time favorite people)!” she said, “The song is called Ladies First, which is funny because my mommy sings it all the time, so I already knew the part I needed!” Yara will be playing the role of Young Meesha (’91) in the episode that is set to air on November 15, 2009 on CBS.
During the summer she had a blast taping an episode of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place (as Olive). That episode is also set to air next month on Disney Channel! Look out for Yara on your TV screens this Fall.
