THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET IN HEAVEN BY MITCH ALBOM
The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom, is a book that shows heaven is not only a place but also an answer. The novel takes you on a journey with Eddie, the main character, as he goes through heaven learning what his life really meant. During his time on earth, Eddie would have never thought of the things he is told while in heaven. The many events that take place in the story are filled with meaning.
Personal View
If there was just a select few books that illustrated how everything happens for a reason, The Five People You Meet in Heaven would be one of the select. I like how Eddie, the main character, is shown how people in his life who he may have thought had no importance actually played a role in his being. The book makes you want to consider the little things you come across in life. The Five People You Meet in Heaven is a book that I think many people will enjoy reading!

I’ve read this book. It’s one of my favorites. It really does make you stop and think about all the little things in life that you ignore every day. It also challenges people’s views about what heaven is. My favorite quote from the book is: “People think of heaven as a paradise garden, a place where they can float on clouds and laze in rivers and mountains. But scenery without solace is meaningless. This is the greatest gift God can give you: to understand what happened in your life. To have it explained. It is the peace you have been searching for.” This book is definitely a must read.
